A little about me...
Mike will tell you he got into real estate because he likes people more than paperwork. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most families ever make, and he wants his clients to walk into it knowing what’s going on, not just hoping it works out.
Before becoming a Central Florida REALTOR®, Mike spent years on the homebuilding side, buying materials, tracking costs, and working with builders like Lennar and Dream Finders Homes. He’s seen how homes get built, what things really cost, and where corners sometimes get cut. That comes in handy when you’re standing in a kitchen trying to decide whether a house is a good deal or just a pretty one.
He’s not a “trust me, it’s a great deal” kind of agent. If it’s a good deal, he’ll show you why. If it isn’t, he’ll say that too, even when it’s not what you were hoping to hear. He doesn’t have every answer on the spot, and when he doesn’t, he’ll tell you and go find out. What he’s proudest of is hearing a client say, “I know we made the right decision because Mike took the time to show us why.”
And he doesn’t disappear after closing. Call him a year later with a question about your water heater or what the house down the street sold for, and he’ll pick up.
Away from work, Mike is a husband to Heather and a dad to a house full of kids. Family comes first. Most nights you’ll find him at home with a movie on, a good book nearby, or a video game controller in his hand (usually after losing an argument about whose turn it is). Raising a family in Central Florida has taught him what a home needs to do for you, both for the life you have now and the one you’re planning.
As part of The Wilkins Way, Mike’s promise is simple: he’ll listen, he’ll be straight with you, and he’ll treat your goals the way he’d treat his own family’s. Whether it’s your first home, a family property you’ve held for decades, or your next chapter, he’ll be in your corner.
